Show Dates: Thur. Nov. 28, Fri Nov 29, Sat Nov 30 ​and Sunday Dec 1st matinee. There’s a break and ​then we resume on Fri Dec. 6, Sat Dec 7 with a final ​matinee Sun Dec 8.

There’s no need to prepare anything although if you ​have a special talent you’d like us to see, we’d be ​happy to watch!

There are some singing roles and non singing roles. ​The songs are short.

HISTORY:

In 1971 Reverend Bryan Foxton, along with his wife Eileen, founded the West Elgin Dramatics Society. Together they rallied friends, family and neighbours to help preserve and promote local live theatre for the community.

Much has changed in our group over the years . . . but what has not changed is the dedication of our community volunteers, actors, support crew, technicians, sponsors and patrons. No one person can do a production such as this, it takes everyone working together.

When people come to the theatre they come to see their dreams visualized. Together our cast and crew help make that magic happen. Come and see for yourself. Be a part of our magic.

If you’d like to participate in community theatre but the stage isn’t your cup of tea WEDS has openings for tech crew, front and back of house helpers, and administrative board members. Contact weds.ca@gmail.com for more information.
